Who I Follow

When I say project, I mean, I’m-working-hard-to-get-them. I’m trying to control my spending impulses because I’m preparing for the Forever 21 May sale. Sometimes, I really wish I didn’t have to work this hard to get the things I want. But then they wouldn’t be as satisfying when I finally get them.

TOMS Henna. I know I’m not a big fan of flat shoes, but TOMS has converted me. Not only are their designs classic and unique, they’re also very comfortable. Plus, I totally support their cause, the One for One Movement.

Jeffrey Campbell x Black Milk Damsel. Pretty much the best collaboration I’ve seen in months. My favorite shoe brand, Jeffrey Campbell, teamed up with clothing label, Black Milk to create these amazing shoes! I know I whine a lot about not being able to afford Jeffrey Campbell but I’m sure I won’t feel a single ounce of guilt when I finally get my hands on this pair.

Steve Madden Glitter Boots. These are, essentially, knock-offs of the Miu Miu Glitter Boots which are hideous. I mean, silver glitter and plum? No thanks. If I’m going to get some glitter on my feet, I much prefer this Steve Madden pair. Less outrageous but still awesome with that retro-vibe.

Michael Antonio Gheza Green. I love wedge shoes because they give me that much needed height boost without the crippling discomfort of stilettos. These Michael Antonio pair comes in the cutest pattern. Very summer-appropriate. I still think Michael Antonio shoes here in the Philippines are way over-priced. It’s not like they’re designer or high street shoes anyway.

Marc by Marc Jacobs two-toned Mary Jane. I’d probably have to sell my left arm to get this, so I’m just going to stay put and drool at all the leathery goodness.

Getting one or two pairs of these next month will make all the Saturday overtime work so worth it. :)
